When we heard trick-or-treating may not be allowed this year, our club wanted to make sure all kids had an opportunity for some Halloween candy. Our solution was to get 520 pounds of candy and fill 1300 bags to be distributed by Ruben Castro Charities at their drive-thru grocery distribution. Our solution was to get 520 pounds of candy and fill 1300 bags to be distributed by Ruben Castro Charities at their drive-thru grocery distribution. 
On August 22nd our club helped Ruben Castro Charities prepare food boxes for 320 families in need. They distribute twice a week and currently are serving more than 600 families per week. Thank you to all who participated and to Ruben Castro Charities for all you do for our Moorpark community.
We are lucky to live in one of the safest cities in California. Well, it does not all come down to luck, the men and women our our Moorpark Police Department go above and beyond to keep our community safe so our club wanted to say thank you. This morning we dropped off three dozen donuts and expressed our gratitude.
