Welcome to Rotary! By joining Rotary Club of Moorpark Morning, you are instantly connected to 1.2 million Rotarians across the globe from over 35,000 clubs, and we are thankful for you choosing to join our club!

Where to start

Rotary is going digital, and we are utilizing it where it makes sense.  In order to get the most out of connecting with our members, make sure you our GroupMe Chat Room.  It is the easiest way to connect to the group in real-time.

Another great resources is the ClubRunner app which is available for iOS or Android.  This gives you direct personal contact information to members within our Moorpark Morning club.

Next, make sure to check us out on Facebook, and make sure you like and share content with your friends and family.  Our best tool for recruitment is our member, and sharing what is happening in our club is the easiest way to recruit members.

Optional Moorpark Morning Rotary Club Swag!
$5 from the sale of each item will be donated back to our club.
Our Moorpark Morning Club is part of a larger District 5240 (Facebook) which is a group of over 71 clubs and 2900 members in our region, and because our region is so large, we are also part of a handful of groups within District 5240 Group 5

If you aren't into using social networks, no worries! While they are extremely useful for getting up to the minute information, our club president will send at least one email a week with club updates and an intro to our guest speaker, so always be on the lookout for that weekly.

my.rotary.org

We all joined Rotary, because we want to make a difference in our community, and hope that it stems to doing something positive in the world that will leave a meaningful impact.  my.rotary.org is the first step to connecting you directly with Rotary on the global level.  You may be able to find like-minded individuals outside your club in the discussion groups, or start your education in Rotary in the learning & reference section.

The most valuable section for a new member, is going to be the New Member section.

PRLS

The goal of PRLS, begun in 1993, is to provide a set of training sessions wherein current and future Rotary leaders could learn to become more effective in their leadership roles.  To find out more, you can check out their site.

Next steps

Again, we are so excited for you to join our rotary family! While attendance is not mandatory, we hope to see you at our Thursday morning meetings, and hopefully finding a committee to join for one of the events we throw annually.

See you soon!
