Tanya Nelson helps people with utility assistance, minor home repairs, and assisting Ventura County communities out of poverty.

As an Energy Intake Specialist at Community Action, she processes weatherization applications, as well as utility assistance application and connect families and individuals with other resources available to them. For Tanya, assisting the community during some of their most troubling times is the most rewarding part of the role.

Outside of the office, Tanya enjoys spending time with her family at local businesses, gardening, and working on her own small business.
